Setting up Teamviewer to get Remote Support
If you require remote support from the Hectre administrators, follow the steps below to install TeamViewer Quick Support on your:
- Computer
- iPhone or iPad
Installing TeamViewer on Your Computer
Step 1
- Go to the TeamViewer official website
- Choose your computer operating system (1 in image below)
- Click "Download" for TeamViewer QuickSupport (2 in image below)
Step 2
- Open the downloaded TeamViewer application
- Select the check boxes to allow your screen, mouse, and keyboard to be accessed
- Click Continue
Step 3
- Copy the information for Your ID and Password
- Send this information with your Hectre representative
A Hectre administrator will now be able to access your device to locate and fix any issues.
Installing TeamViewer QuickSupport on Your iPhone or iPad
Step 1
- Open the App Store
Step 2
- Search for TeamViewer Quick Support
- Click Get
Step 3
- Open the app
- Click Allow when the app asks to access your device
- Click Send Your ID (see image below)
- Choose your method to send this ID to your Hectre administrator
A Hectre administrator will now be able to access your device to locate and fix any issues.
