Setting up Teamviewer to get Remote Support
If you require remote support from the Hectre administrators, follow the steps below.
- If you would like remote support on your computer: Install TeamViewer
- If you would like remote support on your iPhone or iPad: Install TeamViewer QuickSupport
Installing Teamviewer on Your Computer
- Download and install TeamViewer from the Teamviewer official website
- Open TeamViewer
- Locate Allow Remote Control and Your ID and Password (see the image below).Note that the“Your ID”and “Password” values are automatically generated by TeamViewer.
- Send the “Your ID” and “Password” values to Hectre’s administrators.
A Hectre administrator will now be able to access your device to locate and fix any issues.
Installing TeamViewer QuickSupport on Your iPhone or iPad
- Open the Apple App Store application.
- Search for the TeamViewer QuickSupport app.
- Open the TeamViewer QuickSupport app page on the App Store.
- Download and install the app to your device.
- Open the TeamViewer QuickSupport app
- Locate the “Your ID” string (see the image below), which is automatically generated by the TeamViewer application.
- Select Send your IDto send the “Your ID” string to Hectre’s administrators.
A Hectre administrator will now be able to access your device to locate and fix any issues.
