Why is my Video not Uploading Successfully?
There are 2 areas of the app where you can upload images/videos:
- For creating a Color Parameter
- When creating a group for sizing
If you encounter a Failed to Upload status for either of the above, please check the below points:
🛜 Internet Connection
Your TopDown computer must be connected to a stable internet connection to upload scan
- open a web browser and search "Speed Test"
- click Run Speed Test
- if the results is "poor" or "weak", you may encounter problems uploading videos
Note: videos that have failed to upload will be stored on the TopDown computer and will automatically try to re-upload when connected to stable internet.
📸 Image Quality
Blurry images may fail to process due to low fruit detection
- Trucks should pass under the camera at a constant speed of around 1–3mph (2–4km/h) to get the best results
Dark images may fail to process
- We suggest installing an overhead light to handle dark times
- contact your Spectre representative if you still encounter this issue after installing a light, or if images appear dark despite being a bright day
🟫 Bin Corners Missing
Spectre uses the upper four corners of fruit bins to help detect and size the apples. If any of the four upper corners of a bin are missing, the bin may not be detected
- Make sure your camera is far enough away from the top of the truck
- Have the truck drive under the camera in a straight line
