Optimize Packing, Storage, and Sales Decisions with Hectre

If you're a fruit packhouse or a sales and marketing company, Hectre’s Fruit Quality Dashboard provides valuable insights to enhance line efficiency, optimize storage decisions, and secure better deals with retailers. Here’s how you can leverage it effectively.

Accessing the Fruit Quality Dashboard

To view fruit quality insights, you must be signed up for Hectre’s Size and Color Technologies and have conducted harvest scans of bins. Once logged into the Hectre Dashboard:

Navigate to the Fruit Quality tab – View aggregated insights for size and color based on selected filters.
Select a fruit variety – Example: Selecting Gala reveals nearly 700,000 scanned fruits across 3,500 bins.

Analyzing Size and Color Distribution

Click on a specific size to see its breakdown by color grade.
Click on a grade to view its distribution by size.
This feature helps sales teams efficiently fulfill orders.

Using Advanced Room Search

Go to the Advanced Search tab to filter fruit based on size and color.
If consignment fields were used to tag storage rooms, you can locate fruit stored in specific rooms.
Example: A retailer requests fruit between sizes 163–216, classified as premium or second class. The dashboard shows which rooms (e.g., Rooms 11–19) contain the highest percentage of that selection.
This allows confident decision-making when creating packing plans and fulfilling orders.

Unlocking Defect Information

The image origin and defect breakdown provide deeper quality insights.
To access defect data, contact Hectre about Hectre Perform, which enables in-field defect and QC assessments that integrate directly into the dashboard.
