Connecting your Mobile Device to Star Micronics SM-T300i Bluetooth Printer
The Hectre iPad app is compatible with the below portable bluetooth printer:
- Star Micronics SM-T300i
Portable bluetooth printers can be used with Hectre to print:
- Bin tickets
- Picker receipts
- Employee ID badges
- Timesheet summaries
Connecting to your Bluetooth printer to your iOS device
Step 1
- Switch printer on by pressing the Power button.
Step 2
- Ensure the printer Bluetooth settings are set to Bluetooth-Auto
- If needed, follow the below steps to set to Bluetooth-Auto
- Hold both the Power and FEED buttons for about 5 seconds until the red Error light flashes 5 times
- Press the Power button to select "Bluetooth(Auto)",
- Press Power and FEED together for 5 seconds and then release.
- Restart your printer
Step 3
- Go to Settings on iPad/ iPhone and into the Bluetooth section.
- Turn Bluetooth on by tapping the switch. It should appear green.
Step 4
- Scan for Bluetooth devices and select Star Micronics
Step 5
- If asked to enter a pin please use "1234" or "1111" or "0000" (zeros)
Step 6
Check that you are Connected to the printer. You should now be ready to print from Hectre.
Connecting to your Bluetooth printer to your Android device
Step 1
- Switch printer on by pressing the Power button.
Step 2
- Ensure the printer Bluetooth settings are set to Bluetooth-Mac
- If needed, follow the below steps to set to Bluetooth-Mac
- Hold both the Power and FEED buttons for about 5 seconds until the red Error light flashes 5 times
- Press the Power button to select "Bluetooth-Mac",
- Press Power and FEED together for 5 seconds and then release to save.
- Restart your printer
Step 3
- On your Android device, navigate to Settings- Connections- Bluetooth.
- Turn Bluetooth on by tapping the switch.
Step 4
- Scan for Bluetooth devices and select Star Micronics
Step 5
If asked to enter a pin please use "1234" or "1111" or "0000" (zeros)
Step 6
The printer should now be paired to your Android device and ready for use.
